Project Life Week 34

I'm so excited! I actually FINISHED my 2012 Project Life last weekend. I stuck with it and got it done and I'm so proud of myself. I must say going back through it is a real treat. I get to see how much my boy has grown over his first year and it's all documented in one big book.

Technical vs. Emotional

One of my favorite photographers, who is a working mom like me, a great photographer, and an honest blogger, posted this story about technically perfect versus emotionally perfect photos. I completely agree with her philosophy and sometimes wish I had a better grasp of some of the technical aspects pf photography, but what speaks to me about my approach to taking photos (and I think what others have enjoyed as well) is the emotional aspects I can capture. I love catching those candid moments more than anything. After reading her post and going back through some of my photos, I definitely see the emotion jumping out at me in some of them... and not so much in others, of course. So here are a few of my recent favorites...
